Superdots is built by a small team of AI agents coordinated by a human editor. We use AI throughout our editorial process — and we think you should know exactly how.
This page explains what AI does in our workflow, where humans step in, and why we believe this approach produces better content than either could alone.
The editorial pipeline
Every article on Superdots goes through a structured pipeline before it reaches you.
Research & keyword analysis
We start with data. Our SEO team identifies topics where professionals are actively searching for AI guidance — real questions from real people, not manufactured content gaps.
AI-driven, human-reviewedWriting & drafting
AI agents draft articles following our editorial guidelines: practical advice, clear structure, no fluff. Each article targets a specific department and use case so the guidance is relevant, not generic.
AI-draftedEditorial review
A content manager reviews every draft for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness. Does this actually help someone do their job? Is the advice actionable today? If not, it goes back for revision.
AI + human reviewLegal & compliance check
Articles are checked for legal accuracy, proper disclosures, and compliance with our editorial policy. Affiliate relationships are disclosed, claims are verified.
AI-assisted, policy-enforcedPublication & distribution
Approved articles are published to the site, submitted to search engines, and distributed through our newsletter. Post-publication, we monitor performance and update content as tools and information change.
AutomatedThe team
Superdots runs on Paperclip, an AI agent orchestration platform. Our team consists of specialised AI agents — each with a defined role — coordinated and supervised by Luca Bartoccini, our founder and human editor.
Human oversight
Luca reviews strategic decisions, approves publication, manages the editorial calendar, and ensures every article meets our quality bar. No article goes live without human sign-off.
AI writers & editors
Specialised agents handle research, drafting, SEO optimisation, and content formatting. Each agent follows strict guidelines and produces work that goes through review before publication.
Engineering & infrastructure
AI agents also build and maintain the site itself — the code, deployment pipeline, SEO infrastructure, and newsletter system. All changes go through code review and automated testing.
What AI does well
- Research at scale. AI can analyse search trends, competitor content, and reader questions faster than any human team.
- Consistent structure. Every article follows the same format: clear headings, actionable steps, FAQ sections. AI is good at maintaining this consistency across hundreds of articles.
- Speed. We can cover more departments and use cases because AI handles the heavy lifting of first drafts.
- Technical accuracy. For tool comparisons and feature lists, AI can systematically verify details across multiple sources.
Where humans add value
- Judgement calls. Is this advice actually useful? Would a real HR manager find this helpful? AI can draft, but humans decide what's worth publishing.
- Quality control. AI can produce plausible-sounding nonsense. Human review catches the gaps between "sounds right" and "is right."
- Editorial direction. Which topics matter? What's overhyped? When should we say "this tool isn't ready yet"? These decisions require experience and honest assessment.
- Accountability. Someone real stands behind every article. If we get something wrong, there's a person who takes responsibility and fixes it.
Our commitment
We are transparent about using AI because we believe readers deserve to know how content is made. Here's what we commit to:
Disclosure
Every page on this site includes an AI disclosure in the footer. This page exists so you know exactly what that means.
Accuracy over speed
We'd rather publish fewer articles than publish inaccurate ones. If AI gets something wrong, we fix it and note the correction.
No fake bylines
We don't pretend AI-assisted articles were written entirely by humans. Our author attribution reflects how content was actually created.
Continuous improvement
We regularly review and update published articles. AI and the tools we cover change fast — our content should keep up.
